Last year in May, husband and I found a bunch of agave and aloe plants at the green waste. Someone had cut them out of their yard. We rescued them. Here is what they looked like when they came home with us.
Poor little guys! Well they were quite large guys. We put them in buckets of water for a few months. Grew some mosquitos in the process. Fast forward, they all made it and this is what they look like today. Some are three feet wide.
And they are starting to have babies!
They look great! Now when I go to the green waste, I make sure to look around for any more plants that need saving!
